The Taipans’ end-of-season dinner ... "Hollywood Nights IV" ... has been scheduled for Friday 5th April

Join the team as we recognise our annual award-winners and present some Hollywood productions of our own

Where - The Pullman Cairns International, 17 Abbot St, Cairns
Time - 6.15pm for 6.30pm until midnight
Cost - $150.00 per person
Includes - Three-course dinner, beer, wine and soft drinks
Dress code - Black tie

Tanya's Outfit

Browsing around the shops, I spotted this dress and loved it ... tried it on and it fitted perfectly ... loved it more !!
Then I checked the price tag ... $250.00 ... wow ... way too much ... so I went looking some more
Went back a few days later and yes, it was still there ... reduced by fifty dollars ... still out of my price range
Tried on other outfits but couldn't get this one out of my mind ... so went back to the store
Now it had been reduced down to $100.00 ... that's more like it so I went away to 'think about it'
Decided to buy it so grabbed my credit card and headed back before anybody else bought MY dress
What A Terrific Surprise
The dress was still marked at one hundred dollars BUT it was now hanging on a rack that had a sign saying
"50% of all Marked Prices"
!! so I went off to the Taipans Dinner in a fabulous dress for which I paid just $50.00 !!
