Please Note
These four photos are from Google Earth
and are dated 21st June 2009 and there are probably a few changes
over the last four years
.
The
Sporting Complex
On the top right are the Tracy Village
Social and Sports Club facilities and car park
On the top left can be seen the lights around the main baseball
diamond and beneath that is the second field
The softball diamond is on the bottom left with the football and
cricket oval on the right
The
Baseball Diamonds
On a first-quick look, it appears that
the light poles are inside the home run fence !! ... but they
aren't
They are shadows of the poles and these Google Photos must have
been taken either in the early morning or late afternoon
I am guessing that the clubrooms and canteen and other facilities
and sheds are under the trees
Baseball
Diamond One
Here you can clearly see the infield
cutouts for both senior (90 feet) and junior (60 feet) sized base
paths
The circle for the portable mound is also visible and it is installed
and removed as required
Baseball
Diamond Two
No cutouts on this field but both the
senior and junior markings are visible
Again the circle for the mound can be seen so this must also be
of a removable type
