Trees at the Entrance to the Complex

* Removing the Stumps *

"HYDROVAC"

I had never seen one of these in operation before ... it's a 'magic machine' !!

The two stumps shown in the photo below appeared to be in the path of underground cables
and the HydroVac was used to find out exactly where the power cables and water pipes are

High Pressure Water and a Vacuum Pump

Starting to dig a trench between the power poles / water meter and the two stumps that need to be removed

Two power conduits were found but at a depth that would not effect Joe using the excavator

and the water pipe was close by but again would not cause any problems

Joe starts his work ...

... and the stump is gone ...

... and the hole filled in and cleaned up

With this one, the power conduits were close but again would not be a problem

however the water pipe is not very deep and is right under the stump !!

Not being able to dig, Joe slowly pulled the Golden Cane Palm stump apart ...

.

... with a perfect result !!

The sludge was then dumped back into the two holes

waited

for

these

two

to

come

and

play

but

they

didn't

show

up !!
