Shopping Basket with Hoop Handles
A retro vintage wicker shopping basket
It features hoop handles with wound plastic
The base is masonite and the sides are wicker / cane
Cosmetically it is very good with no breaks to the plastic and
the handles are sturdy
A nice retro piece in great order
It measures 18.5 inches (47cm) deep from base to the top of the
handle and 11.8 inches (30cm) deep
from the base to the rim and is 17 inches (43cm) long and 7.8
inches (20cm) wide

Vintage 1950's Wicker Shopping
Basket
This is a fabulous vintage wicker shopping basket that dates to
the early 1950's
The basket has a traditional shape with an overhead handle which
has a dark green and white plastic coating
There are two green borders and a dark red border running around
the basket
It is also deep and would be suitable as a picnic basket
The basket is used but in great condition with no real damage
and only gentle signs of wear
The plastic coating is fully intact
It measures 15 inches (38cm) deep from base to the top of the
handle and 10.6 inches (27cm) deep
from the base to the rim and is 13.6 inches (35cm) long and 6
inches (16cm) wide
