Brett's "Memorabilia Room"

Over the years, dozens of boxes of Brett's Baseball Souvenirs were slowly collected ... and these

included his 'every-player-gets-a-prize' Under 9 Trophy right through until his Athens Olympic

Silver Medal ...... even his first T-Ball uniform was in the collection !!

Over the last year or so, Brett and Kahlia have been slowly going through all of this ... and trying

to decide what to keep and what not to ...... an almost impossible task because every item has a

memory attached to it !!

But it had to be done

A display cabinet was purchased, and special boxes were built for jerseys and bats, photos were

selected and framed, baseball stands were purchased and engraved, book stands specially built

...... and almost un-ending list of things to do !!

Thousands of dollars ... and Brett's wallet is completely empty ... but what a Fantastic Result !!

When they purchased the home at Kewarra Beach, a large family room was always 'marked' to

be a future "Memorabilia Room" ...... and yesterday it became a reality !!

I don't normally release any photos and details until they have been added to the Albumns in our

web site ...... but made an exception in this case because it could be a few days before I can get it

completed ......

...... so there are four photos below

When I get the Web Site Albumn completed, there will be many more shots ... along with details

and close up photos on all the items selected

...... but these four show the room off perfectly

Fabulous !! ...... and Brett, always be very proud of what you achieved ...... it is all here !!

Finally, a note to Peter and Wayne at Australian Art Framers ... thank you again for your advice

and excellant workmanship ...... every item looks fantastic

( and by the way, there is another 'special bat' to make a case for ... I will be in during the week )

PS - I am not sure what is going in the middle of the room ...... maybe a pool table, even a bar !!
