It has been a while since Sharon went on a "Clothes Shopping Spree"

She is starting two weeks annual leave on Monday 5th September
so I decided to give her a few bucks and she can go shopping during her holidays

I made up my mind to laminate all the notes together to make a Money Card and she can then cut it up and take out the notes

I talked it over with Tanya and she said she has a friend, Gordon, at Cairns Plan Printing Services
who would give us some ideas plus have the equipment to laminate something this big

!!--it was a fortunate move because he pointed out something quite important--!!
the currency notes are based on some sort of plastic ... and lamination requires heat
put the two together and the notes would melt ... and be completely unusable

He came up with another idea which was perfect

Tanya went out and bought a suitable birthday card and Gordon made a large copy of a fifty dollar note
These were laminated together onto a solid background and a slit was made where the card opens

I added what I wanted to and sealed it up with sticky tape ... perfect ... and here it is

Size = 18 inches x 8.25 inches = 45.5cm x 21cm
