Here is a shot of how it looked

Sealing around the base

Starting to cut and shape the pieces of stone

The adhesive is applied ...

... and the first piece is in position ...

... followed by a second

Piece by piece ...

... by piece ...

... and it is now finished

Preparing to lay the tiles on the back and top

The top is almost complete ...

... and now starting the back

The End of The Day

The grouting is yet to be done as the tiles need twenty four hours to dry

and it will be even better once the 'wet look' sealant has been applied
