Initially string lines were set up and support posts were driven in
and these were attached to brackets staked to the ground near the edge of the pool

These shot show the start of the rows of reinforcing going around and around the pool

Chairs and bars have now been added to the bottom

This photo shows the pool along with the area cut away for the tiled surrounds

A safety fence goes up for the night

Thursday 13th October 2011

Lots more bars have been added to strengthen the sides and bottom

.

Here you'll notice that the support posts and brackets near the edge of the pool have now been removed

Boxing is now being set up for the outer edge of the top of the pool

Water pipes from the pump and outlets into the pool are being set up and fixed in position

.

The cut out area on the left is for the skimmer box

The shot below shows that the light and conduit are fixed to the side

The short metal stakes which originally held the first few bars on the bottom have also been taken out

No part of the reinforcing can have any contact with the ground
and at this stage, the entire metal framework is supported by the concrete chairs along the bottom and sides
