NOTE #01 - this is not all of the advertisements ... it is a selection that appeared between 1903 and 1914 ... they are very interesting to read and as other different ones are found, they will be added to this page

NOTE #02 - Joseph appears to have had a very good relationship with the Editorial Staff at The Advertiser ... you will notice that there are a number of comments when a new perfume was released or something different was happening at his shop ... and he seems to have been a "pretty smart" businessman because there are a couple of occasions where he sent a 'package-of-goodies' to the Staff for their personal use !!

NOTE #03 - In Store Company Representatives / Demonstrators ... you might think that these are a relatively new idea but, as you'll see below, Joseph was using them way back in June 1913 !!
