Catching the Game

NOTE - these photos were taken as a "test" of the zoom feature on my camera
The first shot was taken from the home run fence in right-centrefield with the camera in the 'normal' setting
The second was taken from exactly the same position but the camera was at 'maximum zoom'
Result = not bad, but I think I'll continue to take the photos from closer to the action

VIDEO

In the Batter's Box

NOTE - like the photos, this video was taken as a "test" of the zoom feature on my camera
I was standing outside the home run fence in right-centrefield with the camera at 'maximum zoom'
Result = same as above ... not bad, but closer in gives better results

In the video, Brett is batting with the bases loaded ... he hits a single into centrefield and drives in two runs
... and you can hear Sharon counting them in as the runners cross home plate !!
