This is a unique and exquisite little pearly
cream coloured lustre swan vase with a gold beak - it is marked
'Wembley Ware' on the base - the swan measures approx 7.5cm in
length, about 5.7cm in height, and the width is approx 3.9cm
- it is in very good condition with some normal wear (surface
scratches and scuff marks) and a couple of tiny marks - June

Amazingly gorgeous Wembley Ware lustre swans
in fantastic condition! - this listing is for all of the pictured
swans to be purchased together as a set - there is one larger
than the rest and that is a white swan - tthe others are two
small gold swans and two small white swans - all of the smaller
ones are in perfect condition with no chips or anything at all
- they even have the original stickers on the bottom, completely
intact! - the larger white one is also in excellent condition,
however it does have two tiny weeny little blobs of silver glitter

is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs -

Ware swan - it is still with its old foil label under the base
- there are no chips or cracks, and just a little wear to the
gold in a couple of spots - the swan stands 6cm high and is 7.75cm

And here is the story Even though this had a little wear to the gold, we placed the bid of $19.99 - and we know now that was pretty stupid and dumb!! ... because the next day we saw the Buy-it-Now auction for an identical coloured swan which is detailed near the top of this page - this one is in excellant condition and the price was only $18.95 - and we bought it while this auction was still going on ... so we were hoping that someone would outbid us - but no such luck!! We will probably list this swan on Ebay - and hope to get our money back ... so stay tuned!! |

it and I have not tried to remove this) and what appears to be

with no chips or cracks but there is some wear to the gilding

Wembley Ware small swan vase - up for auction
I have this georgeous piece - it is a small vase in the form
of a swan - and it is in really good condition - the swan has
the makers mark label on the bottom - this is dated 1940's early
50's - it looks stunning on display - it is an unusual colour,
being a dark chocolate brown, almost black - December 2008 Final selling price - $40.00 NOTE - Sharon does not have this colour and it would have been nice to add it to her collection ... but ... we had already spent lots of money over the Christmas period - next time!!! |

Wembley Ware black swan - presented for consideration
is a magical Wembley Ware black swan with a red beak - this item
still has the original paper label intact and this type of paper
label was introduced in the late 1940’s and was in use through
out the 1950’s - this very sweet piece measures in at 7.5cm
(3"”) long and 4cm (1.5”) wide and 6cm (2.3”)
tall - this magical piece is in as new condition - there are
no chips, cracks, stains or repairs and no crazing - this is
a magnificent piece and is just the very best - I have had these
before in gold and white, but not in the black - Wembley Ware
