Exhibition Game - Sunday 5th March 2006

A note from Brett after the game
The game didn't go too well against the Red Sox
I grounded-out back to the pitcher and struck out twice
And --- hurt my arm
It was pretty sore but already feels better this morning so we will see how it all goes
I dove for a ball that I dropped (and I was pissed that I dropped it!!)
and then I threw the ball in from my kness
Big mistake!! --- Sore!!
My eyes also aren't too good right now
They hurt a lot and I have trouble with it being blurry most of the time at night
But I am wearing them more and hopefully I will eventually get used to it
......and another note the next day
Well, today is the first day in Orlando and things are pretty good
My eyes still hurt a little but my arm doesn't feel too bad!!
However, I haven't thrown yet today
- but it hurt yesterday while I was doing nothing and today I can't feel anything at all
We are about to go to training so I will let you know tomorrow before the first game
By the way, the hotel is unbelievable!!
So bloody nice!!
It makes you feel like "a king" - and hopefully it can help us play like one!!
Heading off to training now so I will email again as soon as I can
