Roneberg" Bat
The Auction
Details
Game used with the Altoona Curve
Up for sale is a game used rock-maple 'Brett Roneberg' baseball
bat
I got this bat directly from the Altoona Curve
It includes Brett's autograph
Brett was the "AA" Eastern League All Star Game Most
Valuable Player this year
And once again he's putting up strong numbers - sixth in the League
in batting average!!
Here's your chance to get a great item while the price is still
cheap!!
And before Brett moves up to Indianapolis - and then Pittsburgh!!
The bat is broken and is missing a piece of the handle - as shown
in the photos
Item location
- Summerville, Pennsylvania United States
This auction ended on Sunday 27th August 2006
The starting price was set at USD$34.99 (AUD$46.50)
There was also a "Buy-it-Now" price of USD$99.99 listed
(AUD$132.95)

The seller immediately relisted the bat - and added the following
"Brett is third
in the Eastern League in overall batting average"
This auction ended on Monday 4th September 2006
This time the starting price was set at USD$30.99 (AUD$41.20)
There were no bids
Again the seller immediately relisted
the bat - and added the following
"The 2006 season
has now ended
Brett will probably move up to 'AAA' Indianapolis next year
But if the Pirates dump Brett,
like they have been known to do with top players on many occasions,
he may go to a contending team
Just think - that will double or even triple the value of this
bat!!!"
This auction ended on Sunday 24th September 2006
This time the starting price was set at USD$29.99 (AUD$39.90)
There were no bids

Two Game-used
Altoona Curve/Pittsburgh Pirates Autographed Bats
The Auction
Details
Up for sale today are
game used baseball bats from future Pittsburgh Pirates!!
The first bat is a gamer from the
2006 Eastern League All Star Game "Most Valuable Player",
Brett Roneberg
This is a rock maple bat with a chunk of the handle missing
Brett's #17 is on the knob, and also with his beautiful signature
on the barrel
The second bat is a gamer used by Ray Sadler, who was 'up-for-a-cup-of-coffee'
with the Bucs
a couple of years back, but who played most of last year at "AA"
Altoona
The bat is a Louisville Slugger that is uncracked
but does have some small pieces of wood missing below the tape
on the bat
The knob of the bat has Ray's old #22 on it, but when I got him
to sign it he was in his new #41
Both bats were purchased directly from the Altoona Curve
The Roneberg bat was already autographed when I purchased it
I got the Sadler autograph in person
Both players should start the season at "AAA" Indianapolis!!
Get 'em now before they triple in price!!
Remember, this auction is for both bats
This is a sweet lot of a pair of Pirates' prospects!!
Good luck bidding!!
