Playing in a Major League Ballpark!!!

Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia will host the Curve and Reading Phillies on June 12th

Curve headed back to the Major Leagues in June

For the second time in three seasons, the Altoona Curve will be headed back to the major leagues for one day

The Curve, in conjunction with the Reading Phillies, have announced that the two clubs will play a regular season game at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park on Monday, June 12th, beginning at 7.05pm

The game at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia won’t be the first regular season contest played by the Altoona Curve at a major league ballpark
On June 26, 2004, the Curve played the Erie SeaWolves (Detroit Tigers) at PNC Park in Pittsburgh - the home of the Curve’s major league affiliate, the Pittsburgh Pirates
Altoona was blanked by Erie, 2-0, before 6,497 fans on a Saturday night in Pittsburgh

Meanwhile, Reading will be playing a home game in Philadelphia for the second consecutive season
Last May 9th, the R-Phils defeated the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees), 5-3, before over 5,000 fans at Citizens Bank Park
