RONEBERG RETURNS


Popular veteran slugger Brett Roneberg returned to the Curve on Monday, joining the team from extended Spring Training

Signed by the Pirates as a Minor League free agent in the offseason, Roneberg was a fan favorite in Altoona three seasons ago

In 2003, he batted .281 with 10 home runs and 61 RBIs for the Curve

A member of the Australian National Team, he has participated in two Olympic Games (2000 and 2004), earning a Silver Medal with the team in Athens in 2004
